I was doing some work on my portfolio site and decided to ask a friend to record a reading of my story about the archangel Samael. I'm embedding the result below, and it can also be found with the story here.
This is a fantastic idea! Your friend has a great voice for this. I love how listening to audio recordings of stories adds such a rich layer to it. Your friend does a great job of adding a lot of color to the story.
That's a super cool idea! I would definitely steal it if I had that kind of reading voice! I've always loved audio books, even as a kid with books on tape, and it really never occurred how simple they are to create out of short stories. All you need is a few minutes and a microphone, and you have yourself an audio book!
I had already commented on your introduction so I went looking and found this post! I read your storybook earlier and say this soundcloud link and was amazed! This was really well done and added a great element to the original Samael story! I will definitely look into this tech tip further and see how I could potentially incorporate it my own work!
